Printing Methods

We have 3 main printing methods. Dye-sublimation ,vinyl thermal transfer and silkscreen

Dye-sublimation is the best method as it dyes the image into the fabric and does not change the feel of the fabric and will last as long as the garment. This process is limited to light color garments and only 100% polyester.

Vinyl Thermal transfer is where we print onto a special vinyl and through heat we apply it to the surface of the garment. This process can be used on most fabrics and colors. The drawback it that you can feel the vinyl on the surface of the garment and is not as durable as a dyed product. Vinyl thermal transfer and silkscreen are the processes used by most apparel decorators.

Silkscreen is for larger quantity jobs and as per vinyl thermal transfer the ink sits on the surface of the garment and will change the feel of the fabric and as it sits on the surface will have a tendency to crack and peel with usage.
